Artist's Comments
This is Toyotama, the oldest daughter of Ryuujin, the dragon king. In my story she's in, she's looks about 15 or so, but she looks older in this picture. I suppose she's all dressed up nice. I learned something interesting. Makeup is very hard to do. Or rather, it is easy to do on Photoshop, but if you never wear makeup like me, you don't know how to coordinate well. The whole thing took me about a week, but I only worked on it last weekend and a few minutes during the week. It's my masterpiece because the kimonos are really pretty. Coordinating those are hard as well. And finding material to use as patterns.
